We started SwitchUp as we just didn’t find what we were looking for in what was already out there. There are some brilliant creators – but we enjoyed a more retro format like the old gaming magazines. Scoring 5 sections out of 20 to give a percentage score like the good old days! Hopefully, you enjoyed our more unusual style. We’ll always try and cover any new Nintendo Switch games, Top Nintendo Switch games or Upcoming releases as best we can.

For all things Switch all the time, keep it SwitchUp!

My daughter said I should have thanked her in the video too as she helped make it……thanks, I guess. Remember when you didn't get told off by your kids?!? Will you be picking this one up? Let us know. Happy gaming. Glen

I like that they actually advertised this game at people who got angry that ubisoft pulled the scott pilgrim game. I'll have to pick this one up for sure.

My daughter had this on her wish list and I saw it and instantly thought, this is as close to a Scott Pilgrim sequel that we'll ever get. Bought two copies for her switch and on PC for me, but now i want it on my switch. Great Review Bruv…

Feel like doing a double dropkick attack in a skirt isn't the best plan out there.

Damn I need a Switch! River City Ransom was my favorite NES game. Fantastic beatumup with RPG elements. IMO ahead of it's time and the bet NES game

How many hours have you played the game?

This game looks like alot of fun, but no way for $29.99, due to the pixel graphics being hard on the eyes. Price should be slashed to $14.99. that's fair 🤔

If you don't have Scot Pilgrim, (given it's almost impossible to obtain it if you kept the digital download due to rights and licensing issues), this should scratch the itch for a good beatemup. But I do think the price is a little high. $20 digital and $29 physical would have made more sense.

A word of warning to anyone out there hoping for a River City Ransom game. Look elsewhere this game is pretty bad. There's a LOT of really bad design choices that restrict pretty much everything the player does, essentially forcing on a railroad either by locking off certain areas, forcing you to do fetch quests, and even having an anti grinding mechanic in place. Basically any enemies that spawn in after the enemies that are in the area when you first enter will give you no XP and a single penny. Think of this as more of a decent looking but poorly made knock off of the Scott Pilgrim VS the World game and you're more in the right market
