Do you even ride a bike? Thats what you call realism

Reply

tompparaideri August 31, 2019 at 11:41 pm

Damn. 30fps and not even Xbox One X enhanced. 2 years ago they were so proud that the game runs 60fps and last year it was 1440p Xbox X Enhanced but they threw both down the shitter. How are you supposed to play a racing game that requires precision at 30fps. Daaaaamn.

wondering if this game will ever get actuel modern graphic?

Most people need 1 hour or more to get the muscle memory down for a motorcycle game.

The bikes simply lack the excitement/power that the real motogp bikes have. They look so slow in the replays, and there is no drifting sideways on the bikes under extreme braking, it's a dull affair of just pulling it up bolt upright. The handling(except the back not drifting) seems realistic , its just that when realistic lap times are unobtainable( even to an experienced bike rider with decade of full sim motogp gaming), it's obvious that anyone who is doing realistic lap times is in Europe or on a pc where there is some sort of tweaking going on.

OMG man!! Play it on PC!! 120 fps, MUCH MUCH better graphics, and you can play with keyboard, gamepad, steering wheel, or whatever you prefer!!!!
8:15 textures loading slowly as fuck!!!!

30 fps on both 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
What a joke of a game.

Your criticism of braking is what happens in a real bike! If you're a couple metres late in braking, you WILL struggle to make the corner. If you lock your brake, you DO need to wait while the tyre regains shape and grip to get control again. You DO most of your braking before the corner. And changing from 2nd to 1st mid corner would chuck you off…

joshninny August 31, 2019 at 11:41 pm

The reason you’re probably over shooting your turns is cuz turns are tighter when breaking with the front break. Pulls the nose of the bike in the turn tighter. Gotta feather it tho

David Robinson August 31, 2019 at 11:41 pm

2:45 That is what happens in real life when you gear down while in a corner

You can't say the physics on wet is the same on dry when you race only with normal physics

pro career mode: now the difficult relies on 70-120% range. Still miss restart option…

So manu improvements. But i really mis a good quick shiter sound on 19’ . Everything is so much better. But the shifting to the gears sounds just to slow. You know that fast shiting sound in corners. I think 19’ would be perfect with an update for the quick shifting sounds

One thing they still don’t get right is the atmosphere. Fairly lacklustre and uninspiring. I don’t want a comical arcadey style game, just some atmosphere and character.

Personally I feel the games unfinished. The braking is pretty poor overshoot cornering is common, unless braking very early even before the ideal braking time (when it’s still blue) sometimes the cornering feels clunky where you turn very sharp on some corners then on others feels as though it takes a while and you lean off course. I’ve played everyone gp other than the Rossi one and 18, maybes i just need to get used to the new mechanics I find the braking issue the worst and the ai I have often been pliers into the back off while under going a corner. The any wheelie upgrade is a
Joke also wtf is even the point in it, pull off the line on the back wheel only to get taken over or slow down wheel goes down and get taken over. Come out of a slow bend and wheelie out of it

Really thrilled to play the game specially because of inclusion of tracks like Laguna seca .

No one asked for neural AI… Should have given us 60fps… Terrible developers

Why is nobody talking about the lack of split screen play? I always played split screen with my son on MotoGP 15 and 17 and don’t know why it’s missing. Or am I missing something?

Yo did you notice that the multiplayer does not have assisted physics and never works it works perfectly in the single player but not on multiplayer the joint breaks as well as the auto breaks don't work what do I do

Moto GP ultimate racing technology released in 2002 was 60 FPS, as were the next two installments, all on the original Xbox. How on earth is this game 30 FPS??? Plus, I haven't played a Moto GP games since the original Xbox that was anywhere near as good or enjoyable as the first three.

in short This MotoGP game is for real MotoGP racing lovers and not for amateurs, so just deal with it 🔥

haroonRK23 ID August 31, 2019 at 11:41 pm

honestly I appreciate the creators for making this game more realistic, those who are crying to not able to handle the bike in this game can play previous ones and only come to this when they're sure that they can handle it and also I appreciate the driving mechanism and the AI difficulty which is more real than being just a bot, I would give this game for being realistic 4 stars one is less because I wanted more cinematic in career mode like F1, on an average this game is for real MotoGP Gamers so bring it on 💪🔥

Just had my first play on MotoGP 19. All in all it’s a massive improvement on the last game. However I still think it’s missing the finishing polish I hope can be addressed via a patch. For instance better replication of the atmosphere of a real life GP…Where is the ambience/distant noise of air horns from the crowd as the bikes bundle into the first corner, I’m pretty sure even MotoGP 18 had the sound of air horns as well as coloured smoke in the crowds! Surely they can add these features back in from last year’s game and some more sound effects from the crowd? At the moment the race feels lifeless as if it’s just a regular track day…the addition of these little details can complete the experience. Race commentary is something I’ve wanted in both MotoGP & F1 games for years, although I doubt we’ll see it this year now…even if it was just a verbal update of the race standings each lap or who’s set the fastest lap time of the race so far, who’s gaining time on who or when a rider crashes. Just little things to add to the immersion would go a long way. Feel like they’ve missed a few simple features that the community would have appreciated.
