Never ever in the world history you have seen a commander fleeing the territory weeks after winning the battle. Another Maratha army from Deccan was on it way for a revenge and had reached the present-day Madhya Pradesh. What a pussy Abdalli was was!!!
Abdalli was a coward. He never participated in hand-to-hand combat during the Third Battle of Panipat. His commanders were enageged, though. Abdalli stood on a raised structure watching the battle from a distance. He had his harem (sex-slaves, wives, homosexuals..what not) ready and was prepared to flee just in case if the defeat was imminent. This has been mentioned in all chronicles. The one written by Afghan court-men as well as the Marathas.
There are letters available in Itihaas Sanshodhak Mandal related to this batle. In fact, this is one of the well-documented battle. In their pre-battle letters, Marathas have referred to Abdalli as 'Naamard' (pussy), 'Bhyaadaa', 'Bhiru'. He may have been leading the battle but did not engage in hand-to-hand combat. The Marathas Sardars including Peshwas actually were on the main battlefield and engaged in a hand-to-hand combat.
Abdalli sent reconciliation letters to Marathas 22 days after battle and fled Delhi because without men he was already weak even to return to Afghanistan. As soon as he went there – he was killed by his own people. Sad but 100% true. Unfortunately, thats how stupid people in Afghanistan are still are.
Also This Abdali was slave of Nadir Shah of Iran and his earlobes were cut by Nadir Shah.
Thats why name of empire was "Durrani" empire.
I see many Afghan commenting here about their Baba – well dumbfucks you killed your own "Baba". And your "Baba" was slave to Nadir Shah – just like many afghans refugees are still laborors in Iran. Lol.
