Sad to say a purest attitude of Vietnamese is "Stealing" money and over price with you, never paid back you exactly, so do you noticed? Now Vietnam is lesser of tourists white people, so for the sake of any retirement people settled in Vietnam good luck!! It's sounds like " vacuuming" your money at all!!!

how is better to travel from north to south in Vietnam , in your opinion ? because , personally , i want to take the night train from Hanoi to Hue , and from there or Da Nang by plane to Saigon . What sites do you uses to book train / buses in Vietnam . Thanks

You can get a nicer hostel for less if you get a deal on agoda mind you. "Luxury" but you dont get your own fan, and its like a 12 ppl mixed dorm lol.
Terrible deal.
I stayed at buffalo and hay hostels both at $4aud per night. Both were nicer. Buffalo had a pool. That's 2.80 pounds per night.
You did OK with food, and actually pretty good with that supermaret.

I ate basically nothing but street food in Hanoi. It was very good, healthy (freshly made), didn't get sick, and never spent more than US$2.50 for a full meal including a can of Bia Hanoi🍺 🇻🇳👌. The Bun Cha was especially fantastic.
