I see remnants of three movies here: the Harry Potter cafeteria (and, perhaps, castle), the Hotel Artemis hallway and the giant bear from something or other.

I can't wait for the second book to be finally adapted for the big screen, it's been years since the original film released, so hopefully this is considerably more successful. It should be considering the calibre of the cast involved, this could probably be the biggest project the bbc has done, since the doctor who reboot.

Church will not like this. The first book is a story for children, however, the two books that follow are way more deep and influential.
AdroDynamic November 29, 2019 at 6:25 pm
Pretty disappointed in the casting tbh… seems to be casting famous Brits just for the sake of the name, rather than the character… I'll give episode one a chance, but that's all.
Laurence Clifford November 29, 2019 at 6:25 pm
Was this based on a book for young adults? Looks dull as dish water.
Alec Neate November 29, 2019 at 6:25 pm
Doesn't look as good as the film, didn't think the casting was as good although I'm guessing the story line of the series will be more in line with the book
