It’s time for a new translation project! 😀 A few people have asked if I was going to do the Tokyo Mew Mew game for GBA, and I didn’t originally plan for it to happen so soon, but I managed to get my hands on a copy sooner than expected 🙂 So here it is! Hope you enjoy!

「My name is Ichigo Momomiya. Today I’m on a date with Aoyama! Although it was supposed to be a fun day, Quiche ruined it by stealing Masha’s memory chip! The memory chip has our Tokyo Mew Mew secret identities stored on it!! Not only that, the memory chips broke apart! If we don’t collect the memory chips faster than Quiche, Aoyama-kun… no, our secret identities will be revealed to everyone!? I can’t imagine such a thing! Complete the puzzles to get the memory chips back!」

It was my library discarding all the volumes of Tokyo Mew Mew recently that reminded me to come back and watch this game. But more importantly, I managed to get all 7 volumes of the manga and the 2 volumes of A La Mode out of it. For free. So that was a good day.

And go figure the girls would secretly tail Ichigo on her date. And I'm going to assume that it was probably Mint's idea. Seems the most likely candidate with Pudding being a close second.

I also remember playing this game, and halfway through, it being frame perfect to finish the puzzles. Probably because of having to use an emulator, but you work with what you have.

When I was a kid, I had heard about this game. So I started saving money for it. I eventually gave up, but never got rid of the tin can I decorated for the money to buy this game. Years later, I learned about region locking. Even if kid me got this game, it probably wouldn't have worked in my US GBASP. XD
