We started our 14 day Vietnam Voyage by travelling from Cambodia to Vietnam by bus. The border crossing was really easy, however, the bus broke down several times and almost caught fire! Safety issues aside, the journey from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap by bus is very straight forward. We used Giant Ibis and booked our tickets on 12go.Asia. Once we made it to Vietnam we went straight out to find some Pho!

We’re both really looking forward to our time in Vietnam and will be creating DAILY videos! So keep an eye out for the next one!

Hi guys,
I am taking a similar route (Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh City) and I can't seem to find any answers to my questions 🙁
How did you guys get the visa to Vietnam when coming from the Giant Ibis bus? I have an Australian passport and hopefully it won't be too hard. I heard from travellers that took the HCM to PP route that their Giant Ibis bus asked for 35 USD for the visa stamp, is this true and also the case for a Cambodia to Vietnam route? Hopefully you guys can help, if not, all good I'll continue my research 🙂 Thanks anyway.

All the best,
