I wrote you yesterday but it was during your show. Lets try again…I am also 65 and sometimes you are over my head on issues.
I live in Ecuador and am not able to watch my prime videos. Sometimes I can get a show but not much. Also getting live college football is difficult. it buffers. I have plenty of internet so I thought having a vpn would help. It does not. I am just a streamer for tv so do I need vpn. I am using PIA and only have a few days to cancel now. What can I do….

Lee, I'm not sure why you aren't getting HD with that Kodi 18 Netflix addon. Since Kodi 18 supports DRM I'm not sure what the problem is.

Thank you very much for the great review and set-up of the Beelink GT-King. It was invaluable when it came to setting up my own box yesterday. I had it laying around for a week and got motivated after viewing your video. I just wanted to report that I had a little different experience with mine. My 5 Mhz wifi signal did much better than yours and my speeds over wifi equaled those by ethernet, the full capacity of what I subscribe to. I too used Speed Test by Ookla. Ping and jitter were excellent. The box did update to a version dated 8/12/2019. I do not experience the Play Store findings that you had. I can clearly see which tiles and icons my cursor is at and can control it easily with the D-pad arrows. I did set it up to high contrast in the settings. Coming from a Minix U-9, I can clearly see how much faster this box processes commands and functions. Downloads and installations are blazing fast. My choices were between this box and the Shield, but at an offer of $102, I figured that I had to give this a try. I do wish the box had a mouse speed adjustment, but I will probably use a Minix A3 air mouse/keypad or get another Rii. I use a full keyboard/trackpad to do my set-ups. So, in conclusion, you may have a faulty box or need some settings changes to view your Google Play Store. Maybe even display settings. The box is great. Thanks for your videos.

Hi Lee, the Beelink GT king looks pretty nice but like you for the price their asking for it you would think that they could give us a better remote. As for setting up the unit I agree anyone who knows nothing about Android Boxes will have a hard time understanding just what they are supopose to do when it comes to programming it. Like you said it is a good secondary box, but I'd never make it my primary until they fix the on going issues with the mouse pointer so that people will know where they are when their in the app store. Great unboxing and presentation of this device.

I can click back on the ri. I have to click back on the remote to go back on most stuff. Also it kicks me out of every app once I allow it. Those are my only two pet peas. I use the rii anyway even on the shield. But yet it shoukd be colored when moving app to app. I use adw launcher 2 which is very nice and similar to nova launcher. Never buffers and very fast box. You can switch speedtest scale in settings from 100 mbps to 500 mb/s to 1000 kb/s to test too.
