Like all modern "photorealistic" games, it looks absolutely horrible. The uncanny valley is their wet dream, and as we know, even it sucks. The sad thing is I think the hardware's there, but the programming is not. People have done more with VHS video cameras and sub $10,000 budgets thirty years ago. Guess we need 16K and throw some more hardware at it.

Do you know what doesn't look authentic? Those collisions, I've seen enough F1 to know that the majority of collisions end up with someone's car getting fucked up, where in this, the wheels are perfectly fine, the bodies have nothing on them and the wings remain perfectly intact, is this like Arcade damage mode or something?

I threw Heavy Rain at my xbox one x as well. If I had a copy of Detroit Become Human it would have been given the same treatment.

So Xbox still the better console then. Good. Hope Xbox will continue to be the very best next generation too.

Did he really say Yas Manira? Jesus at least get somebody to do these Tech test that know something about racing. I mean the name is clearly in your face and pronounced correctly 🤦

Nice overview!
But I've missed some differences around cockpit modes. It would be interesting to know if there are FPS differences when using the main 2 cockpit modes which are normally in use for simulation/steering wheel players.

At 2:08 on F1 2018 you set all minimal setting on purpose just to make 2019 looks better and have viewers as dumb or it's just coincidence and u play on "Nintendo switch"?
MattyPeq October 28, 2019 at 1:15 am
DriveClub and Gran Turismo Sport are the two best driving games this gen.

I don’t want developers chasing true 4k. Power is best used elsewhere

Great comparison as usual.🤘🤘🤘
But you guys failed to include the PS4 Pro performance at 1080p output. I thought you guys mentioned that you'll include it moving forward just like how you did it with Red Dead 2 ☹️
